Parents Asked If They Hope For Baby Boy Or Baby Girl.
A baby is not really concerned about the color of baby clothes nor from which material the baby clothes are made, but for the parents, family members and friends, the color of baby clothes they buy for the new baby, concerns them a great deal. The custom of dressing babies in blue baby clothes or pink baby clothes, depending on whether the new born is a boy or girl, is an age old custom, that even in the modern world, is still of some influence. Why?....... is another question!
As soon as the news that a new baby is on the way, mums and grandmas start knitting baby clothes. As soon as the new baby is born, family members and friends start buying new baby clothes as gifts. How long will all the baby clothes last? Babies grow fast, and soon outgrow their baby clothes. For the family expecting to have more than one child, the outgrown baby clothes may be kept for the next born.
The next baby will not mind very much, whether the clothes are new or pass-downs; will not mind whether the baby clothes are old fashioned or have designer labels, so perhaps it is safe to assume that the choice of baby clothes, the material used for making them,
and the color of the baby clothes, is more for the benefit and satisfaction of the parents than of the newly-born, but that's life !

The photograph was taken in the Grand View Gardens, where the baby girl, here held by her grandma, was attracted to the antics of the goldfish in the pond, and in the same way, the goldfish were attracted to the baby girl, fully expecting to be fed with a morsel or two; their expectations were not fullfilled!
