Is There A Computer In The House? Question By A Future Creator Of Graphic Designs!
Graphic design using pen or pencil on paper, or by using brushes and paints, has almost been superceded by the use of computer programs. The graphic designs that are now possible to create by use of a computer, are almost without limit. With some imagination and artistic talent, graphic designs are created to fullfill the requirements of advertisers, film producers, and magazine editors. It is often difficult to be sure that an image we see in a magazine, is a photograph or a computer graphic design.
A child of four years of age came to visit one day and asked if there was a computer in the house. When shown to the computer, the child asked for help to open a painting program. When ready for use, the child started playing with colors and shapes and crooked lines. When asked how it was done, the child replied that it was easy and proceeded to show how an image of imagination was created. How many years will it be before the child becomes an experienced Graphic Designer?

Amongst the other examples submitted of his work on graphic design, were illustrations of space ships, robots, and flowers. Although the graphic designs were created on a computer, the student's work displays the artistic talent he has acquired or was born with.
