Adventure Holiday Visiting New Countries.

Good Morning to You Both!
Hello Barry,
That is a wonderful adventure you have planned for September, with new countries to visit; more stories to writie for YOUR TRAVEL BOOK! Have you started writing it yet ? It would surely be a best seller, and probably become a hollywood film! I am afraid I have lost count of the many foreign countries you have already visited, except those of China and Wales.!
Take care of yourselves and enjoy every moment of your journey, well most of it, there are bound to be moments when problems occur, but these dont last forever, and are soon forgotten. Three years ago, I was in the Shaolin Temple on a visit on a hot, hot day, with a new digital camera. After a heavy thunderstorm, which increased the humidity, the camera decided not to work.......HOW COULD I LIVE WITHOUT A CAMERA ? ? ? ? ? But of course, like everything else, the crisis did not last forever, and the camera decided to work again ! We go through life on a continuous learning process!
The only countries I have been to on your itinerary, are Austria and Germany. In Austria, many years ago, we bought rail tickets to go up to a small town, way out in the mountains, and we stayed at a small hotel for three nights. At breakfast on the first morning, there was a couple at the next table with a familiar accent. In conversation we found out that their home was only about 3 miles from my home in Wales! The wife did nothing but complain, she complained about the food, complained about the beds, complained about the staff not understanding english! The only thing that seemed to make her happy, was finding things to complain about!
Guess where I am going next week! No.... not to China! ........ No... not to Vietnam! I am going to stay with friends in their Chinese takeaway shop in St.Helens. I shall be there for about five days, then return home for 10 days, then go to stay at another shop in Liverpool for a few days, then a shop in Manchester, then down to London to visit Quang. Two weeks ago I was in a shop at Blackpool at the start of my annual 'tour'! I have cancelled all plans for China later in the year, too much trouble at the airports at the moment. If I was blown up during the flight, I wouldn't know anything about it, but to be stuck waiting in the airports for four or five hours, would be torture !!!!!
I wonder which person from New Zealand, you will meet in Moscow!!!!!
Enjoy your holidays and take care,
Dan
