Hello Doctor Zhong; Of course it is not my turn to write a letter..... it never is! However, it is money time so I must send it to you quick, in case you have to go begging on the streets, to get money to play with Jiang. After writing this letter I must search for an address label to put on the envelope, because I know I have one left somewhere, but I do not know for sure where it is because my desk is so untidy. It is the last label I have, so I hope I will soon receive some more from you, or else I shall not be able to send any more letters to tell you how much I miss Ching !
It is so cold here today that when I was in the garden I had to work quite hard to keep myself warm. Later, I got tired so I came back inside the house to write this letter. I had a letter from Yin this morning telling me about his visit to GuangDong. He went to GuangDong with one of his professors, to stay with some friends, and seems to have enjoyed himself very much. He is now back in school teaching, and is taking two classes this year, so he is very busy. I also had a letter from Brother Liu last week and he said he has been adopted as a 'God-Father' by six young school children in Singapore. So now he is very happy to have six children in his 'family', all in one go, and his family has become very big!
Parents Hope New Baby Will Be A Baby Boy.

Minh telephoned me from London last night to ask when I would be going there to visit. He told me that his wife Hua is expecting another baby next month so I said I would wait until the baby was born before going to see him and his larger family. It was a big surprise to learn that there was another baby on the way, for it is some months since I last saw all the London families. This coming baby will be baby number four for them, so the family is increasing in numbers quite quickly. I wonder if this baby will be a boy, because the other three were all girls, and I think Minh would like a boy very much. If the new baby is a boy then I think they will have enough children to look after.
Japanese Mother and Son Attend Different Language Classes.
I have now been to two lessons in night school, to learn some more French. I am the oldest student there; the youngest student is a Japanese boy. His family came to the UK two years ago, and when they came 'Ko' [the boy's name] did not know any English, but now he can speak and understand English quite well. Ko is coming to the French classes while his mother goes to the German classes. He is a happy sort of fellow, and is almost always smiling, so when we have a rest for a cup of coffee, we are always talking to each other. I like 'happy' people !
My sister and I are going to visit our sister-in-law Elsie this evening, because next week she goes to the Arab countries to visit her son and family. I wish I was going with her, for there will be many interesting and wonderful things to see. I have been giving her lots of advice; what to do during the journey, and while she is in the airports, but she will not really need this, as arrangements have been made for the airport staff and the aeroplane staff, to look after her during her journey. Now I must go on a journey myself...... to post this letter.
Take care of yourself and be happy!
