Inexperienced Oarsmen On Changsha Lake

The rowing boat had just passed under the moon bridge when this picture was taken. Although all the rowing boats and pedal boats appeared to have seen better days, they were much enjoyed, just as they were on Kunming Lake In one rowing boat the "rowers" were very inexperienced and had little control of the steerage, much to the amusement of onlookers !

Boys Play With Their Toys !

Even adults have to have their play time ! Most young people in the developed countries, as soon as they are old enough, will learn to drive a car or a motorbike, and it is something taken for granted. For the vast majority of Chinese people, being able to drive anything with its own engine, can only be experienced in leisure parks.

Chinese Men Support Their Families

Three young Chinese men who have derived some benefit from the increase in the number of tourists visiting China. Xiao Cheng 1 and Xiao Cheng 2 were both waiters, and Xiao Zhang a barman in the Furama Hotel in Changsha.
Their home towns were not particularly affluent so they gave some support to their families. Do we have anything to learn from them ?

Quizzical Expression On Face Of Chinese Boy
Is this young Chinese boy a new recruit for the Peoples Liberation Army ? Is it a good idea to buy young children toy guns with which to play ? His appearance was certainly different to the children of Xishuangbanna He was walking past us with his mother when this picture was taken but from the expression on his face, he wasn't quite sure why. Having passed us, he looked back a few times, but his expression hadn't changed !
