Chinese Papercuts Series No: 01-12h: White Eagle. Rare even in ancient times and only emperors could keep them in private zoos. Other Chinese papercuts included Golden Monkey, Whooper Swan, Crested Ibis, Yangtze River Dolphin, Giant Panda, and Machurian Tiger, fine examples of the work of farmers in China making papercuts: A calendar issued by the CNTA had 12 papercuts, the White Eagle was one of them.
