Young Children Enjoy A Happy Time
In Food Street Tianjin

Three Chinese boys at top of stairs in Food Street, Tianjin.

Events Of The Day Discussed By Young Children
In Food Street, Tianjin.

Young children learn from each other and from their different experiences about which they talk to each other. The language that some young children use may sound completely foreign to any adult who happens to be within hearing range, but the interaction between the children proves their own understanding. If the young children are happy as they safely interact with each other then they will grow through the years of their early childhood, experiencing life learned in a different way to that of their elders. Who are we to argue with that, for that is the process that shaped our own development ?

The three children shown in this photo from Tianjin, are unlikely to have any brothers or sisters, due to the ''one child per family'' policy that exists in China. The association of children from different families is therefore very beneficial, as they have no siblings from whom they would learn nor with whom they could talk about their experiences and childhood adventures.

Early Childhood
Early childhood is a stage in human development. It generally is the sum of toddlerhood and play age, the latter which in psychosocial development more specifically is age 3-6. In early childhood education infants and toddlers experience life more holistically than any other age group. Social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical lessons are not learned separately by very young children. Adults who are most helpful to young children interact in ways that understand that the child is learning from the whole experience, not just that part of the experience to which the adult gives attention.
