Bonsai Trees At Railway Station In Guilin Arranged On Stands Around Goldfish Pond.Surprise display of mature Bonsai Trees, Goldfish Pond, and Bridge, at Guilin Railway Station.![]()
There is something very satisfying in growing Bonsai trees successfully. To see a display of Bonsai trees clearly looking well cared for in a railway station was certainly a surprise, and to have the Bonsai trees displayed in such a public place, where the well shaped Bonsai trees could be enjoyed by the passengers would certainly be appreciated. The Bonsai trees in their pots, some of which were on ornamental stands, were arranged at the sides of a pond complete with an arched bridge, and fountains, and in the pond as an added attraction for the passengers, a shoal of goldfish swam in crystal clear water.
Anyone interested in Bonsai trees who are planning to depart from Guilin by train , should certainly get to the railway station in plenty of time, so as to enjoy and take a closer look at Bonsai Trees, pruned and cared for by experts. When we arrived at the Guilin railway station, to catch a train for Nanning, we did so not knowing that we would be passing such a beautiful display of Bonsai Trees, on our way to the departure platform. It was a case of taking a photo or two of the Bonsai trees and hoping that by doing so the Nanning train would not leave without us.

Bonsai Trees
Bonsai are not genetically dwarfed plants. They are created from nearly any tree or shrub species and remain small through pot confinement and crown and root pruning. Some specific species are more sought after for use as bonsai material. This is because they have characteristics that make them appropriate for the smaller design arrangements of bonsai.[citation needed] There are many different ways to acquire, cultivate and grow bonsai.
