Chinese Decorative Art On Tall Vases Photographed During A Visit To Beijing Market Have Tops Covered Against Rain

Picture of tall Chinese vases with decorative patterns and tops covered with blue plastic to prevent entry of rain.

Rain would not cause problems to the decorative patterns painted on the tall Chinese vases in the Beijing market, but the tops were covered with blue plastic pieces to prevent rain filling the vases with water. The decorative patterns on the vases included images of flowers and trees, a colorful example of the Chinese porcelain art, of which there were many examples in the Beijing market. These Chinese vases were certainly in a class of their own, not only by their size, but in the form that people think about when the thought of Chinese vases springs to mind. The Chinese porcelain vases were works of art that the painters of which had every right to feel proud.
